Mr. Maldonado is a Mexican immigrant from Aguascalientes, Mexico. When arriving to the U.S. Maldonado first arrived in Chicago, IL where he worked as a butcher for a local meat market. There he learned the different techniques of how to cut meat and slowly his love for food and cooking began.

He later moved to Houston, where he worked as a cook for a local taqueria and then ventured off to open Mexico Lindo with hard-work and his earnings. Now over 25 years later, Mexico Lindo continues to be one of the first established taqueria's in the Houston area. Our reputation has led us to cater to different renowned city events,  international celebrities and politicians.
